Save money while helping others and the planet.

The Smart Schools project provides schools with solar generated electricity at lower prices than the national grid, saving them money from day one.

All revenues go to school improvements and paying for solar on the next lucky school.

How the Project works:

1. Install Solar Power Unit

Money donated is used to install a new Solar Power Unit at a school. This provides the school with clean, renewable energy and complete energy independence. No more load shedding!

2. Subsidize Energy Produced

The energy produced is purchased by the School Management at a price below the cost of grid energy. The school is then able to save money on while receiving clean, reliable electricity.

3. Maintain and Improve The School

The money that the school pays is pooled, with a portion set aside for maintaining the Solar Power Unit. Another portion can be allocated by the School Management to school improvements.

4. Fund the Next Smart School

Through each electricity unit purchased by a school, a percentage is placed into the Pay It Forward Fund. When enough is saved, then another Solar Power Unit is installed in a new school and the project repeats itself.
